Forever Plaid Rehearsals Underway

Once upon a time, there were four guys (Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie) who discovered they shared a love for music, and then got together to become their idols – The Four Freshman, The Hi-Lo’s and The Crew Cuts. Rehearsing in the basement of Smudge’s family’s plumbing supply company they became “Forever Plaid”. On the way to their first big gig, the “Plaids” are slammed broadside by a school bus and killed instantly. It is at the moment when their careers and lives end, that the story of Forever Plaid begins.

Forever Plaid brings back all of the great “pre Beatles” guy group music of the early Sixties and combines it with a hilarious back story of “The Plaids,” a group on the cusp of stardom that was never meant to be.  But at least they will always cherish “Moments to Remember”, “Three Coins in the Fountain” and a treasure chest of wonderful harmonies.

Join our wonderful cast of Villages favorites, Bill Davis, Bob Stehman, Woody Wood and Marty Butler for this rollicking trip down memory lane at the Savanah Center, September 26th at 7:00 PM and September 27th at 3:00 PM.
